Building A Travel Wishlist
How do you keep your bucket list or wish list of places quickly accessible?
I use Google Maps! If I happen to be near something unexpected, I see it and can explore. It creates a great opportunity for side adventures, which I love.
Google Maps also keeps all my wishes and ideas in one place. As you can see here, I organize my wish list, so when I visit again or in the future, I can quickly locate where I want to go.
Set Up Your Own Lists
To use this feature in Google Maps yourself:
1) go on your mobile device.
2) Be sure you are logged into your primary Google account
3) Search the location or area that you want to visit.
4) Click on the tab in the upper right of the listing
5) Choose the list that you want to add it to or create a new list.
6) Add any tags or notes
You can access your lists, by clicking on “You” on the bottom of your Google Maps screen and swiping up to see the entire list.
Time To Practice
Now, give it a try. Search somewhere you have been wanting to visit, whether in your own town or another and drop it into a list.
Extras:
-
You can add a place to multiple lists simultaneously.
-
Plus you can add tags and notes.
Now when someone mentions somewhere that sounds interesting, add it to your Google Map list and never forget a cool spot again.
